A Visual System Rooted in Heritage and Clarity
As part of a long-term effort to bring visual clarity and digital fluency to my home church, I led a rebrand for Emmanuel Baptist Church that honored its Reformed heritage while preparing it for contemporary communication. I paired Domaine, a traditional serif, with the modern openness of Work Sans to reflect the church’s theological depth and present-day accessibility. Baroque and Renaissance religious art provided visual grounding, while a monoline logo system unified applications across print and social. The work was warmly received by the congregation and continues to shape the church’s evolving media presence.
